Committed Capital are delighted to announce their latest exit. In March 2022, they sold their equity interest in Saietta Ltd, an engineering company based in Oxfordshire. Founded in 2008, Saietta specialises in high and low voltage e-motor propulsion solutions for a broad range of electric vehicles from scooters to buses.
Committed Capital invested initially in July 2016. Investors received an average return on investment of 2.3x (excluding tax relief) against the fund’s target return of 2-3x ROI on this recent exit. Investors have achieved an average 3.9x ROI and 40% IRR (excluding any tax reliefs) from the EIS Fund.
Steve Harris, CEO of Committed Capital, said: “This is our fourth exit from the current cohort of EIS qualifying investments, and we are delighted that our investors will achieve a return in line with the Fund’s target. We wish Saietta Ltd continued success in this next phase of its growth, following their IPO in July 2021 as a result of which they raised the significant capital required to take the Company’s products into mass production, develop more products and services and generate sales globally.’
